Introduction

The Language of Natural Sciences (LNS) is a language based on mathematics and natural sciences. LNS is divided into two varieties where one is derived from the other. This website will be addressing both varieties.

The Original Language, or Oglang for short, is an a priori philosophical constructed language. It excludes nearly all influence from other languages and any preexisting culture. However, the Oglang is not suitable for everyday communication as its syntax greatly differs from natural languages. Long words are often used to describe common objects, thus making it challenging for daily conversations.

This is where the second language, the Auxiliary Language, or Auxlang for short, comes into play. The Auxlang is a modified version of Oglang to make it more suitable for daily communication. These are some of the changes in Auxlang:

More changes will be made in due time as the Auxlang is still in its early stages. It is difficult to expect what further changes will be made at the moment.

The Oglang has ten consonants and five vowels. There are no verbs, adjectives, or adverbs. It only distinguishes two parts of speech: nouns and relationals. Because only two syllable structures exist, CV and CVn, there are over ten noun and five relational classes, preventing the words from getting too long. New terms are often coined by combining preexisting words. Relationals describe the state or properties of a noun while also acting as an article, adposition, or a conjunction.

The Auxlang has the same phonetic inventory as Oglang but it also allows allophones based on the speaker's native language. It only distinguishes two parts of speech like the Oglang but there are more noun classes to accommodate words that weren't describable with it. Long Oglang nouns can be shortened systematically and two words may merge to form a new one. Relationals can also merge together to become adpositions.
